The town of Glenwood in Crenshaw County, Alabama might sound like the middle of nowhere. Indeed, according to the 2010 census, it is home to just 187 people. But as every treasure hunter knows, the middle of nowhere is exactly where treasure always turns up… if you happen to be in the right place at the right time.


It was 2015 and Lyons was driving towards Glenwood to check out the barn. As he cruised through rural Alabama, did he wonder if he had in fact struck gold? Was he indeed in the right place at the right time? And did he press down on the accelerator just a little harder than usual, thinking of what lay ahead?
